IHK Africa Roadshow - Changing locations in Germany, 19th November - 8th December 2013

The IHK Africa Roadshow examines chances in Angola, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria.

Many markets in Sub Sahara Africa show as rapid economic growth as the Asian countries. Especially the primary producing countries Angola, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria are refered as the "locomotives" of this development. 
The African Roadshow, which was founded in 2011, will again place the
emphasis on these markets.
Defferent station, same objectives: from November 18th - December 5th 2013 managers of the delegates offices of the German ecomony (AHK) in Angola, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria will inform about the economic parameters and current opportunities and challenges.

Food Processing & Packaging Exposyum - Nairobi, Kenya, 26th - 28th November 2013

FPPE – Food Processing & Packaging Exposyum 2013 in Kenya is being organised by an international consortium of leading organisations and trade fair professionals. The Exposyum is aimed at visitors from the food producing and processing industry such as Coffee, Tea, Meat, Fish, Fruit, Vegetable, Dairy, Beverages, Bakery Goods as also Horticulture and business people with an interest in that particular industry. During the event, the entire process from the first processing steps, to filling and packing, right up to logistics is highlighted against a backdrop of specific business structures, developments and location needs.

As an international platform, FPPE 2013 provides a variety of opportunities for presentation, networking, information and discussion. New manufacturing processes, marketing ideas and sales concepts will also play just as big a role as the diverse opportunities for the local community and the international presenters to develop business ideas together.

3rd Global Aluminium Foil Roller Conference - Dubai, 15th - 17th January 2014

The 3rd GLAFCO is organised by EAFA, the global network leader of foil producers. The conference is open for foil rollers worldwide. Previous conferences were held in Oman and Thailand. Supporters are Achenbach Buschhütten, Kampf, Oman Aluminium Rolling Company, Novelis PAE, Thiel & Hoche and the International Aluminium Institute (IAI). The strategic partner is CRU.

Delegates from the international aluminium foil roller industry are expected to continue the coordinated actions on foil sustainability and promotion to support market growth globally and highlight innovative developments.

Nigerian Centenary Exhibition - Abuja, 23rd January - 3rd February 2014

The Centenary exhibition would promote intra-trade among various ethnic groups in the country and also showcase Nigeria’s ingenuity from when the Northern and Southern Protectorates was amalgamated to form an entity called Nigeria in 1914 till date.
Chairman of the Nigeria Centenary Exhibition, Eze Romel Emenike who stated this in Abuja at the maiden press conference of the exhibition, maintained that Nigeria has something to celebrate in terms of trade and commerce, especially in the progress made on improved products and services, processes and techniques. The Centenary celebration offers a unique opportunity to focus global attention on Nigeria, her history, peoples, achievements, and aspirations.

8th Abuja International Trade Fair - Abuja, 26th September - 10th October 2013

The Abuja International Trade Fair is organized by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture. The fair covers all aspects of business and economic activities in Nigeria. EU Nigeria Business Forum - Lagos, 3rd - 4th October 2013

The 2013 EU-Nigeria Business Forum is a key platform for both public and private sectors to put to work the objective of bringing the EU and Nigeria even closer.

Austrian Trade Mission and Business Forum - Lagos, 9th - 11th September 2013

From 9th to 11th September 2013, a high-ranking delegation of Austrian companies, politicians and media representatives headed by the President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Dr. Christoph Leitl, will visit Nigeria (and Ghana).
